(Tarpon Springs, FL) Raising more than $24,000 last year, organizers of this year’s Monte Carlo Night, “An Evening on the Riviera” are doubling down for a brilliant future for both the school and its students.

St Nicholas School’s students rank overall in the 90th percentile according to results from the Stanford Ten Achievement Test, placing them among the best and the brightest in the country this year. To continue that high level of achievement, the school maintains small class sizes while utilizing teachers with more experience and education than is required by the Florida Department of Education. Fundraisers like the Monte Carlo Night are key to continuing this success.

Sponsors are needed for the event which will feature black jack, roulette, craps and Texas Hold’em style poker played with “funny money” provided to participants at the beginning of the evening. No real money changes hands. The night also includes cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Gold sponsor level is $1,000 and includes four event tickets, a reserved table, two Texas Hold’em tournament entries, and advertising at the event. Silver is $500 and includes two event tickets, one Texas Hold’em entry, and advertising. The table sponsor level is $100 and includes advertising at the event. Door prize donations are also needed. Individual event tickets are $35 and include one drink, hors d’oeuvres, and $2,500 in “funny money.“ The Texas Hold’em tournament is $50 per person and includes $5,000 in “funny money.” There will be a single elimination with one grand prize winner. A second round of Texas Hold’em can be purchased at $20 per person, this includes $2,500 in “funny money.”

The event takes place at the St Nicholas Community Center located at 348 N Pinellas Ave, Tarpon Springs, Florida on October 19th from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. Texas Hold’em style poker starts at 8:00 p.m. For more information please call Frances Cooley, 727-944-2460 or Jerry Theophilopoulos, 727-945-1112 or visit the online store for tickets:
