A good start to a new year. Tuesday, September 2, 2008, from 8:00 AM till 9:30 AM, parents and administration meet in the Fr. Tryfon Student Activity Center with the school's administration to review the 2008-2009 Student/Parent Handbook, discuss the after school program, the upcoming new Hot Lunches Program, Monte Carlo Night, Golf Tournament and other actives of the school.
Parents and Administration also talked about the Middle School Social Program and volunteers for the Parent Volunteer Group. Jerry Theophilopoulos, Tom Fillipone and other parents addressed the Parents on what St. Nicholas Orthodox Christian School means to them and their families and supported the need for the parents to support the school's structure and polices and accented the need for all to support the fund raising events.
The new kitchen staff provided a continental breakfast and parents took time to visit and organize for this new 2008-2009 school year which will being the first ever graduating class from St Nicholas Orthodox Christian School. This meeting was a record turn out and all who were able to make it enjoyed both the information and the social aspect of meeting.
