Our number one priority is to build the best education system possible for the children we serve. In 2008, just six years of its founding, St. Nicholas Orthodox Christian School arrived at a bench mark that typically takes many decades to achieve. Through hard work, dedication to education and the inspiration we receive daily from our students, St. Nicholas Orthodox Christian School is proudly an Accredited Member of the following organizations:
- Association of Independent Schools of Florida (AISF)
- Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
- Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA)
- National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA)
Association of Independent Schools of Florida (AISF)

AISF is recognized by the Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools as an accrediting agency for private schools in Florida.
Member schools offer small class groupings, flexible programs, and helpful teacher-pupil ratios. AISF schools stress academic fundamentals while tailoring their instructional programs to meet the needs, capabilities, and interests of their students.

Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)

SACS defines excellence as being outstanding or of the highest quality. Excellence does not exist alone; it requires both a provider and a consumer. Schools and districts may believe that they provide very good learning opportunities, but it is how those learning opportunities meet the needs and expectations of students and their parents that determine whether schools and districts are excellent. Thus, excellence in education implies a strong alignment between schools/districts and students/parents.
SACS is committed to the mission to advance excellence in education worldwide through accreditation, research and professional services, and delivers on that mission by:
- Helping schools maximize student success.
- Building the capacity of schools and school systems to pursue excellence through high standards, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
- Bringing together research and resources for student, school, and system improvement.
- Providing a quality seal that is meaningful and useful to students and parents as they make decisions about their education.

Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA)

Being part of the CITA accreditation process demonstrates a willingness to be held accountable to the school community and to educational professionals. Once earned, CITA accreditation is an internationally recognized sign of quality.
The value of being accredited is that the school’s quality is validated through Self-Study and on-site evaluation by educational professionals. As a result of the accreditation, the school becomes more focused on improving student achievement. Administrators and teachers become involved in the improvement process.
