Our average cost to educate a child is $9,900.00 per year. In as much as our tuitions are less than our cost, discounts of tuition are not practical or acceptable. The fundraising efforts of the Parent Volunteer Group (PVG), Our Annual Golf Tournament held in conjunction with the Chi Chi Rodriquez Foundation along with the generosity of individual and corporate sponsors and contributors are necessary in order to maintain the tuition at the lowest possible level.
Florida Voluntary Pre Kindergarten Program (VPK)
This program is designed to prepare four-year-olds for kindergarten and build the foundation for their educational success. The program allows a parent to enroll his or her eligible child (four years old by September 1 and residing in Florida) in a free VPK program. The program is voluntary for children and providers. A school-year program consists of 540 instructional hours.
The Theotokos Preschool Program offers 3 hours of instruction each day (morning hours of 8 AM till 11 AM or afternoon hours of Noon till 3 PM) to meet the 540-hour requirement. Either of these programs are paid for by the State of Florida for those children that meet the State’s requirements. The Theotokos Preschool Program also offers an extended day Preschool Program for those parents who desire a full day of preschool activities. The fees for these extended hours are the responsibility of the parents.
